A certified stylist for over 20 years, Crystal Vessels specializes in detailed haircuts, trendy hairstyles and flawless make-up. She improves her skills by keeping up with the latest fashion dos and don’ts, hair and beauty techniques. When there are exhibits or shows in her surrounding area she is sure to attend. She has put on countless hair and fashion shows herself, through her company X-clusive Reflections. Making individuals beautiful is not only her career but her passion.
In 2007, Crystal decided after doing make-up for many of her own shows she wanted to become a certified make-up artist. After she was certified thru Lisa Jackson, a popular make-up artist located in Richmond, Va. She improved her skills by going to classes held by Danessa Maverick, Kishia Hunt and Tia Courtney just to name a few.
Crystal’s work has been in featured in hair magazines such as X-treme , Tha Look and Protégé. She was also a nominee for the Golden Scissors Award which is an award ceremony held all over the United States.
Crystal determined that since she wasn’t just a hairstylist but so much more she needed to come up with a name for herself, her company, her career and from there X-Clusive Reflections was established.
X-Clusive Reflection is a company that provides modeling opportunities, photography shoots, and make-up appointments and let’s not forget the trendiest hair stylist available. She is now a set stylist and make- up artist for local photographers and artists, to include video shoots, as are her models.
She has put her home life on hold to move her career to the next level, while trying not to neglect anyone at anytime. Crystal is a wife, a mother to her son and a surrogate mother to many. She takes on new roles everyday which makes her have many different masks and always perfecting them all. Even though she has much more to learn she knows that she is the best at what she does. Making individuals beautiful is not only her career but her PASSION. At the end of each day she can honestly say that not if anything else she has made someone beautiful not only on the outside but in the inside too. She puts her all into what she does, not just her hands but her heart. Crystal truly believes that beauty is in the eye of the beholder and she enjoy helping to making it CRYSTAL clear.
